Nathan Dinihanian designs and builds custom furniture in Portland, Oregon. Born and raised in Portland, Nathan has an affinity for northwest woods.  He strives to source locally and use FSC certified material.

About process:

A custom piece of furniture begins with a conversation. I like to discuss your needs in a piece of furniture as well as get a sense of your style. Once I have a sense of the general size and shape of your piece I can produce an estimate, create renderings and eventually full scale shop drawings. We then source the right material for you project.  I build the piece in my shop and when necessary reach out to my community of crafts people who help me with everything from woodturning, metal fabrication, and finishing. Once the piece is complete I coordinate delivery and installation.
